Friends, 

It is with great joy and gratitude that I can let y’all know that University will receive an additional pastoral appointment in July. Parker Zimmerman will be joining our pastoral team this summer and I could not be more excited.

Parker is an ordained Elder in the TX Annual Conference currently serving in Katy, TX at St. Peter’s UMC. Before St. Peter’s, Parker was on my staff at Faith UMC. Parker and his wife Hannah, have a 3-year-old daughter named Max and are expecting their second child later this year. Parker is a great preacher and leader and I am certain we will be blessed by his passion for the gospel and his creativity in service to Christ. Some at University will remember Parker from interning with our youth department when he was a student at UTSA. We will have more information and opportunities for y’all to begin to get to know Parker and what he brings to the mission of Christ at University in the days to come.
