You Have Got to See This!
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

“You have got to see this!”
I came over to see what had her so excited. She wanted to show me a message on her phone. Her family had been praying for a friend of theirs and had invited them to church. The friend had come and attended a service at University. The message on the phone that I had to see was from the friend. It said the service had moved them, the message had reached them and that they were in their car crying tears of salvation. The friend believed in the saving grace of Jesus and was thankful to be home.
She was right--I needed to see this. This is why we are here. Building bridges to Christ, community and compassion.
We have so much to be thankful for and so much to share. There are more people in worship each week, and Holy Week and Easter saw participation levels that University hasn’t experienced in many years. It is an exciting time in the life of this church.
Thank you for your generosity that is making these moments possible. We are ending the first quarter in a decent financial position. Expenses have been kept below budget, but giving has lagged a little behind our expectations. If God has blessed you and you are able, I ask for you to consider additional investment in the mission and ministry of University.
God is at work in our midst.
