Day School Second Grade Teacher (Exempt, Full-time)
University United Methodist Church currently has an opening for a Second Grade teacher M-F 8:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
The successful applicant must be a person committed to Christ and His church with a love of children and their families, have a desire to serve in team ministry, be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. and be willing to teach Biblical principles. Helping Hands Day Habilitation Program – (Part-time, Non-Exempt)
Helping Hands Day Habilitation Program is seeking to hire a Part Time Direct Care Staff. This position requires the oversight, teaching and training for small groups of clients who have special needs in an adult day hab setting. Some experience with special needs individuals is required. Recreation Internship– (Part-time, Non-Exempt)
University is seeking a Part-time (10-15hrs/week) Recreation Summer Intern position (Mid-May through Mid-August 2021 ). Kids Ministry Summer Intern – (Full Time, 40 hours- Non-Exempt)
Kids Ministry currently has an opening for either one, full time, or two part time summer interns. The applicants should be at least 1 year post high school graduation and have a love and passion for the Lord, children, and families. Kids Ministry summer interns are either full time (40 hours/ week) or part time (20 hours/ week) for 10 weeks from the middle of May to the middle of August (there is some flexibility in these dates for other mission experiences or personal vacations).
Kids Ministry summer interns will assist with planning, leading, and attending Vacation Bible School, and other age level events throughout the summer. They will have large and small group teaching opportunities weekly. They will also have ongoing responsibilities to provide effective communication to leaders and families.

Student Ministry Summer Intern Description (Full Time – 40 hours – Exempt)
The summer interns are paid, full time from the middle of May to the middle of August. The applicant should be 2 years post high school graduation and have a love and passion for God, students, and families. This internship is intended to help college-aged students who are discerning a call to vocational ministry with students and families.
Summer interns will assist with planning, leading, and attending our Middle School and High School Mission trips in June and July. They will also rotate through teaching during our weekly worship service, Wednesday Night Live, as well as lead Sunday morning programming for students. The intern team will be responsible for the planning and carrying out of 12-15 intern lead events spread out over the summer. They will also have shared responsibility of sending out a weekly email to all of our families and leaders.
We provide host homes with a family in our Student Ministry for the summer, unless you live locally and have your own living arrangements.

Maintenance Assistant – (Full-time, Non-exempt)
Qualified candidate will be motivated self starter that can work independently as well as a team member. General duties will include electrical – light and ballast replacement and general troubleshooting, plumbing – restroom fixture repair and replacement, general carpentry, irrigation, HVAC – general knowledge of various types of Energy Management systems and ice machines. This position will be from 8-5 Saturday through Wednesday. The successful applicant must be Christ-centered, able to maintain a safe and clean environment, have reliable transportation, custodial experience and physically able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs. Responsibilities include opening facility on weekends, setting up and tearing down tables and chairs, using floor cleaning machine, and cleaning multiple areas of the campus.
