Adults

Choir

Chancel Choir - Wednesdays |  6:30pm | Recital Hall (W208)
We are a diverse and dedicated group of volunteers. We're mostly people who have had some singing experience in the past, but it is not a requirement! No audition is necessary. The Chancel Choir sings Sundays in worship during the 8:15, 9:30 & 11am worship hours in the Sanctuary. We ask that you commit to singing at least one of these services each week. We rehearse on the South Side of campus in the Choir Recital Hall (W208) on Wednesday nights from 6:15-7:30pm.

Sanctuary Choir - Temporarily On Hold
We're an auditioned group of singers looking for an over-and-above challenge and commitment. We sing most Communion Sundays and also sing for special seasonal worship services. Participation in the Chancel Choir is required. Rehearsals are from September through May on the South Side of campus in the Choir Recital Hall (W208).

Silver Bucket Singers - Mondays | 1:30pm
We are a group of Senior Adults who love to sing all kinds of music. We are an outreach group, singing most often in retirement communities or for other senior groups. We practice every week on the South Campus in room W202. We take breaks around the holidays and in the summer. Come join us!

Orchestra

University Orchestra - Mondays | 6:30-7:45pm
Join us if you have high school-level playing experience or higher. No audition is necessary to be in the orchestra. We provide instrumental music for worship that honors the musical gifts with which God has blessed us. We are asked to commit to playing in two worship services (usually 9:30 & 11am) once or twice a month and at special seasonal services. These dates are scheduled well in advance. This ensemble meets from September through May in the Sanctuary.

Handbells

We have three adult handbell choirs, and while each of the groups sets its own schedule, they ring generally from September through May. We each rehearse once a week on the south side of campus in room W202. Ringers need to have some ability to read music and rhythm skills are especially important. Ringers are placed in groups according to their abilities and their schedule needs. Each group rings in Sunday worship a few times a year and also shares their music out in the community.

Agape Ringers - Tuesdays | 6pm
Lois Fritze Handbell Choir - Tuesdays | 7:15pm
Jubilee Bells - Thursdays | 7pm

Children's Choirs (1st-5th) – Wednesdays | 5:45p - 6:30pm
Our Elementary Children’s Choirs are open to all children in 1st - 5th grade. No previous singing or musical experience is necessary. They sing in Sunday morning worship several times during each semester.

Children’s Chime Choir - Wednesdays, 4:30-5:15pm
This is the perfect group for those with beginning ringing skills or those who want to learn a new musical skill. The emphasis is on learning to make music together and there will be a few times scheduled throughout the September-May season when the group shares its music in a mini-concert or informal setting.
