A Chaotic Invitation From Kids

Posted by Amy Tullos on

Church family,

There will be several Christmas Eve services for you to choose from this year at University and they will all undoubtedly be lovely and meaningful. I hope you are making plans to attend one or maybe even two. If you have children, nieces or nephews, grandchildren, or neighbor kids you love, I encourage you to check out the 11am Kids Chaotic Christmas Eve service.

This service was designed with children in mind! They learn best through stories and movement and fun, so that’s what we’ve planned!  Children, alongside their families and friends, will have the opportunity to actively participate in telling the story of Jesus’ birth. Using silly props, they will engage with the story by following the characters and musicians on stage. And, as we like to say, “If it gets a little chaotic, then it’s sure to be a memorable way to kick off your family’s Christmas celebration!”

After the service, we will have cookie decorating, a photo op, and hot chocolate. Please extend the invitation to the children in your life to join us at 11am in the North Worship Center on Christmas Eve. While the service is for children, adults are sure to be blessed by the joyful energy only children can bring.

Blessings,
Amy Tullos
Director of Kids Ministry
