I wanted to let you know what has been happening in College Ministry lately and of a couple of opportunities happening within College Ministry this month that everyone can participate in! We recognize that coming into this year, college students are coming out of the pandemic where college, even high school, has been online, or hybrid in-person/online, and face-to-face human connection has never been more important. Because of this, we wanted to make this season focused on connecting with college students, by creating opportunities for students to come and connect not only with us but with each other. This semester, we’ve been blessed to create opportunities for connection with students at UTSA and here at the church through weekly campus lunches, hanging out at Top Golf, Chicken N Pickle, and even working a shift at the Pumpkin Patch! Students have begun to form a community, not only with us but more importantly with each other, and it has been such a blessing to see this unfold!
Here’s where you can be involved in supporting University's College Ministry:
Tonight, Wednesday, November 16th from 5:30-6:30, we have our College Care Package Packing Party. We will be on the 2nd Floor Balcony overlooking the Atrium, packing about 90 care packages for our students here and afar. These packages exist to support students as they enter finals season, and to let them know that their home church loves and cares for them. If you are not able to join us, I would be happy to share how else you can support this effort, including financially.
