Expressions of Worship

Posted by Wesley Taylor on

Hey friends!

I have to start by saying how much I love and appreciate this church. University has been an unbelievable blessing to me and my little family. We are constantly being loved on and poured into, and for that, we are so grateful!

One thing that has been incredible to watch is how our church has unified between the North and South side of the campus. I’ve been here for 5 years now, and every year I have seen greater unity built between our staff and worship body. It’s not often you find a church that rallies behind all different styles and expressions of worship, and that’s exactly what University does!

One of the things I’m most excited about going on here at University is our Believer’s Garden service coming back in-person! One thing we have been missing the most around the halls of the church on Sunday mornings is our special needs friends who are always brightening up whatever room they are in. They are such a blessing to the life of our church, and I encourage you all to make it over to the Student Worship Center on North campus for a service sometime soon! Service time is now at 12:15pm so there’s time to worship in your normal setting that morning as well.

Worshiping corporately is truly one of the most important things a church can do. I think God looks down and is extremely pleased to hear the various different styles and expressions of worship coming from the intersection of Vance Jackson and De Zavala Rd each week.

Blessing!
