Supporting Our College Students

Posted by Sarah Reiter on

Come to him, a living stone, though rejected by mortals yet chosen and precious in God’s sight, and like living stones, let yourselves be built into a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
- 1 Peter 2:4-5

Church Family,

Every Thursday, I have lunch with some of our college students at UTSA. This past Thursday, a student was talking about his classes and schedule for the next few weeks and I watched him have the realization of how quickly the rest of the semester will go.

Finals will be here before we know it and I need your help.

University has lots of college students connected to our church - whether they grew up here, currently attend, or their families have moved here since they went to college. We think this gives us a wonderful opportunity to pray for them and support them during their time in school.

We are hoping you can help.

1. Parents: if your child is currently a college student, please fill out this form to help us build our database! We’ll contact you about an opportunity to get together to pray for our students and put together care packages to send them!

2. If you don’t have a college student, but are interested in participating as we bless and minister to our college students, then send me an email

These students are the future of our church and The Church - your prayers, presence, and participation are the materials that the Holy Spirit uses to establish God’s Kingdom in the world. We are looking forward to hearing about how God is calling you to be a blessing in their lives!

Blessings,
Sarah Reiter
